A friend who is acquainted with the author recommended this book, so being very interested, I decided to read it. Dr. Teitelbaum, a Messianic Jew, brings forth a background in Scripture knowledge that the average Christian likely does not possess.In the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament), we read about law, history, worship, and prophecy of the ancient Hebrews, but within all that, there is an immense amount of symbolism pointing to Yeshua ha Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah) that may not be obvious. This is particularly true with regard to the great feasts of Israel and the Hebrew wedding traditions.
Christians who learn about this symbolism and many of the less-than-obvious links between the Hebrew Scriptures and Jesus will gain a greater and deeper understanding of our faith.
This book is concise and easy to read--suitable for readers of many age groups and reading levels. Since several thought-provoking questions are at the end of each chapter, the book is well suited for independent and group study, for clergy and laity alike.
Although brief, this book contains a wealth of information, and those who read it should certainly find it informative, interesting, and fascinating, as I did.
